The hospital in Dallas,Texas where two nurses contracted Ebola is apologizing.
“Unfortunately, in our initial treatment of Mr. Duncan, despite our best intentions and a highly skilled medical team, we made mistakes. We did not correctly diagnose his symptoms as those of Ebola. We are deeply sorry.”
While the hospital expresses regret for not properly diagnosing Eric Duncan who died from Ebola there is now a higher concern about if the virus could spread throughout the US because the nurse who contracted Ebola from Duncan traveled by air between Cleveland and Dallas while having Ebola symptoms. Since the nurse contracted Ebola the 132 passengers on the plane with are being interviewed and a few schools have been closed in Dallas and Cleveland. Frontier Airlines has given six crew members 21 days of paid leave for safety.
The nurse is being treated in Atlanta and remains in “good condition.”
