A police officer shot a teen who opened fire in St. Louis Wednesday. St. Louis Police Chief Sam Dotson said that the officer shot his weapon 17 times after “at least three” shots were fired at him. Right now it is not clear how many times the 18 year old suspect was hit. The officer that shot the 18 year old was off duty and a six year veteran of the St. Louis Police Department. The officer was not shot or hurt and an investigation will decide if the officer was justified with his behavior. Ferguson is about 16 miles from where this incident happened.

Teams that are responsible for burying bodies of deceased Ebola patients in Africa are on strike. Sources say teams in two districts of Sierra Leone have gone on strike because they have not been paid their weekly risk allowance. The specialized teams are required to handle corpses due to the virus still being active in victims after they have died. The teams are said to not have been paid their weekly salary of $100 in two weeks. Health worker Tamba Nyandemoh says they bury 17-35 bodies a day. Last week there were 121 recorded deaths and new infections in a single day.

Paula Patton has decided to end her marriage with Robin Thicke. Paula has filed for divorce and cited irreconcilable differences for the reason. She would like joint legal and physical custody for their 4 year old together. The two separated earlier this year in February. Robin wanted to make things work but Paula just seems to not be having it. The couple were high-school sweethearts. Aw well!

Is Drake in hot water??? Well a well known stripper named Jhonni Blaze claims that after her and Drake spent the night together she was then threatened. The Houston stripper has accused Drake and his team of threatening her life after a sexual encounter the two had. Sources are reporting that police have launched and investigation around the accusations that Jhonni was threatened because Drake’s people were worried she would go blabbing to the media. Allegedly Drake’s people from his camp were sent to her house to threaten her. Jhonni Blaze is unsure if she wants to press charges. Another side to this story circulating is that Jhonni might be pregnant with his child…but you should know not to believe everything you hear by now… moving on..

Anyhoo, Swae Lee from the duo Rae Sremmurd was pulled over by Miami Beach Police and arrested for driving with a suspended license. His bail was set at $1,000. Dr. Dre’s Beats headphones have been banned from being on camera during any NFL broadcast. This information is according to a new deal between the league and Beats rival Bose. The NFL confirmed that Bose received a set of rights that allow it to prevent players and coaches from wearing other manufacturer’s headphones during televised interviews during preseason, practice, and game day. Beats issued a statement in response to the agreement between the league and Bose and argued their headphones are apart of many athlete’s rituals and how music can have a significant positive effect on an athlete’s focus. Beats by Dre makes up 61 percent of the premium headphone market in the U.S. while Bose has a distant 22 percent.

Bone Crusher thinks his hometown’s new emcees are garbage. Bone considers himself one of Atlanta’s leaders in the crunk era. The era of crunk is sometimes called by critics a mainstream downfall of lyricism in rap music, but according to Bone today’s music is getting worse. One of his points was music is not about money but instead about doing something you enjoy. He feels rappers should learn basic principles of how to make a record and it’s not all about money. If you enjoy your craft the money will come in abundance.

Floyd Mayweather might not be as famous as he thinks he is! A Jamaican woman told him straight up that she has no idea who he is. Floyd was getting his hair cut in Brixton, UK when the lady told him to his face she does not have a clue as to who he is. Floyd went off and asked her if she has a TV and how she should google him. The lady said she does know who Usain Bolt is though but Floyd said he doesn’t know who Usain is! Usain Bolt got on twitter and weighed in on the video and said “I had to laugh..well I should take comfort in the fact that she knows Usain Bolt..lol.” To see the video click HERE!

Snoop Dogg is an investor in the website Reddit. The company has raised $50 million dollars in outside funding and Snoop was one of the contributors with actor Jared Leto and PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel. Reddit is planning to  use the money to hire more staff for product development, expand their community and management team, build better moderation and community tools, and many other things it takes to support a growing global internet community. Sounds like Reddit is on to something.

Remember Jordan Davis? The 17 year old who was shot by a man for his music being too loud? His killer Michael Dunn was found guilty of first degree murder on Wednesday. The 47 year old took the stand in his own defense in the case. The closing arguments of the case by prosecutor Erin Wolfson pretty much did it for Dunn. Wolfson and other prosecutors proved Michael Dunn shot with the purpose to kill when he fired 10 rounds into the SUV that Jordan Davis and three of his friends were in.

A Love and Hip Hop Hollywood cast member has been busted by federal agents. The producer Mally Mall is allegedly in trouble for human trafficking. FBI agents on Monday morning raided his Las Vegas home and escort service. The FBI’s public corruption squad which investigates civil rights violations executed search warrants at Mall’s home. Animal control officers were called to the house during the raid because Mally Mall is a lover of exotic animals. Lets wait and see what other information boils over with this one..

I know you have seen the fashion changing or repeating itself all the time, but lately in Hip Hop men have taken things a new route and embrace some sort of “feminization.” With male rappers wearing kilt skirts, painting their nails, using new words, and wearing shirt-skirts from a distance you might think something off the wall. Ja Rule addresses this topic and says “You know what? If You wanna shirt-skirt, go head get you a shirt skirt. Cause this is your generation.” Ja Rule says he does look back at some of his old pictures and wonder what the hell he was wearing then but he says it is apart of being young and growing up. The NFL decided to cut Rihanna’s performance for CBS’s Thursday Night Football. Four days after Ray Rice was terminated due to domestic violence the CBS Sports Chairman Sean McManus says “We thought journalistically and from a tone standpoint, we needed to have the appropriate tone coverage.” The decision was most likely made due to Rihanna and Chris Browns domestic violence case a few years ago. The musical opener was replaced by a discussion with Roger Goodell’s recent comments about Ray Rice. Hm….

This caused the Baltimore Ravens to release the running back from the NFL but Janay Palmer has chosen to defend her now husband. After the incident happened Janay chose to forgive and marry Ray Rice. The Baltimore Ravens knew about her position but caught a lot of flack when the Ravens posted a tweet about the situation yesterday. Janay says that she feels the incident cost her husband his job.

The new signee took the news to his personal Instagram and Twitter account. Love and Hip Hop Season 3 came to a close last night and the reunion show still ended with some drama. Part 3 of the reunion pretty much shows talks after fights with different perspectives. Benzino and Althea get a chance to discuss their views on their fall out from Stevie J and Joseline but Benzino kept coaching Althea to say “No Comment.” Joseline expresses that she will “beat your ass” male or female if she feels some type of way when she is upset and Stevie J asks Joseline to tell the producers that they are married. Hmm…anyway MiMi still defends her sex tape with Nikko and the audience and cast alone with viewers at home all voted and felt Nikko released the sex tape himself. Season 3 was full of drama but you just couldn’t help but watch..until next time!

I guess the saga continues when it comes to the  “Drake vs Lil Wayne” tour because now the two reveal never before seen Air Jordan 3’s. Drake and Lil Wayne have been seen wearing the sneakers your see in the above picture lately. Both Jordan’s hve a sunset gradient on the laces and inner lining pretty similar to the color scheme of their tour logo. It might be predictable enough that the insole is stamped with “Drake vs Lil Wayne” like the previous pair the two have shown. Stay tuned on these kicks! Would you buy them?

Good news for Gucci Mane! His 39 month jail sentence will include the year he has served so far! An entire year has been shaved off of Gucci’s jail time. The decision has been reversed by an Atlanta judge and he will be released in December 2016. Gucci plans on still releasing projects from jail leading up to his return to freedom.

Atlanta Hawks owner Bruce Levenson has announced that he is selling his shre of the team after he admitted to writing an email two years ago that contained racially-insensitive remarks about fans. He was quoted saying.. 

“Over the past several years, I’ve spent a lot of time grappling with low attendance at our games and the need for the Hawks to attract more season ticket holders and corporate sponsors,” Levenson said in a statement Sunday. “Over that time, I’ve talked with team executives about the need for the Hawks to build a more diverse fan base that includes more suburban whites, and I shared my thoughts on why our efforts to bridge Atlanta‘s racial sports divide seemed to be failing.

“In trying to address those issues, I wrote an e-mail two years ago that was inappropriate and offensive. I trivialized our fans by making cliched assumptions about their interests (i.e. hip hop vs. country, white vs. black cheerleaders, etc.) and by stereotyping their perceptions of one another (i.e. that white fans might be afraid of our black fans). By focusing on race, I also sent the unintentional and hurtful message that our white fans are more valuable than our black fans.”

“I’m truly embarrassed by my words in that e-mail, and I apologize to the members of the Hawks family and all of our fans,” Levenson said. “To the Hawks family and its fans, you have my deepest gratitude for the past ten years. Working with this team and its extraordinary executives, coaching staff, and players has been one of the highlights of my life. I am proud of our diverse, passionate, and growing legion of Hawks fans, and I will continue to join you in cheering for the best team in the NBA.”
