Did you study the above picture? Take a GOOD look! How do you feel? Is Macklemore really that great? No shade, but I see a few names listed that were more deserving. There has always been controversy surrounding urban music and the Grammy’s. Last year Macklemore won “Best Rap Album” over Kendrick Lamar’s good kid, m.A.A.d. city album.  Snoop Dogg took to Instagram to post the above picture with the caption “F*ck the Grammys. We need a Hip Hop show for real n*ggaz and real MCs.” Obviously Snoop was showing his disapproval for the Grammy’s choices on Rap. Is Snoop reaching or is he just telling it like it is?

Does Missy Elliot have a comeback album in the works? She might! After her surprise appearance at the Super Bowl halftime show, Missy decided to start cooking up in the studio with Timbaland. The other night on Twitter Missy tweeted “Me and Timbaland bk 2 the drawing board studio dirty beats!” The album will be Missy’s first in over a decade. Lebron James has other talents to show off apparently. The NBA’s first fashion show All Star Style will be produced by James’ Springhill Production Company and is set to air during All-Star Weekend on Valentines’s Day at 6:30pm EST on TNT. You can see players like James Harden, Demarcus Cousins, Chandler Parsons, and Klay Thompson hit the runway. There will be three segments: attire worn to the game, dressing for the boardroom, and a night out on the town. The show is one hour, will you be watching??

The saga continues! After being in the hospital for over two weeks with little brain activity, the Houston and Brown family have reportedly decided to take Bobbi Kristina off of life support tomorrow on February 11th. The grandmother Cissy Houston is said to want it to happen tomorrow because it is the anniversary of Whitney Houston’s death. Sources close to the family allegedly say letting go of Bobbi on Feb. 11th will “keep the mother and daughter together for eternity.” Authorities are still investigating to see if there was any foul play.

Oprah has an upcoming special on OWN called “Light Girls” and Amber Rose has something to admit. Amber sits down and admits most of her family boycotted her wedding to Wiz Khalifa because he’s black. Amber was quoted saying..

Well honey the “highly anticipated” Whitney Houston biopic aired on Lifetime on Saturday night. Did you see it?? Well everybody felt some type of way. There were some positive reviews and some negative. Leaving the overall feedback MIXED. Wendy Williams who produced the Aaliyah biopic got a straight up negative response, but Angela Basset who produced this Whitney biopic got a better response from the people. Many people felt the movie focused too much on Bobby Brown and was very short. However YaYa DeCosta’s portrayal of Whitney Houston was decent. Let’s see what Lifetime does next…are you ready?

Mike Brown’s parents will be speaking at the United Nations. Sources say that Michael Brown Sr. and Lesley McSpadden are going to Switzerland to speak at a human rights conference and will address the 53rd Session of the United Nations Committee Against Torture. The two will leave on November 10th and speak on November 12th and the 13th. The parents are taking their grievances to a world stage because they feel they have not gotten justice from state, local, and federal governments in the death of their son.

Nicki Minaj’s 3rd studio album has been pushed back to December 15th. Last night the Queen of Rap released her deluxe album cover created by the Kanye West team DONDA. The art shows Minaj’s thumb print in Pink..some say purple, either way this is a transitioning point for the heavyweight artist. Minaj has said the album will be something other female rappers can follow to achieve success. The woman pretty much is saying this is a manual to step your game up! Continuing to sprint far ahead of her competition it seems like lyrically, business wise, and creatively Nicki Minaj has the game on lock. Nicki will be hosting the MTV EMA’s in Glasgow, Scotland on November 9th. She will be hosting and performing all while still being nominated.

Suge Knight and Katt Williams have been arrested for robbery charges that come from a incident with a photographer. Bail for Katt Williams is at $75,000 and Suge Knight’s bail is set at $1 million who has a prior conviction for assault with a deadly weapon. If convicted Katt will serve 7 years and Suge will serve 30 to life. A video has now surfaced of Suge warning a male photographer about taking pictures without permission, he then turns to the woman videographer and called her a “bitch” and accused her of taking pictures of his son. The photographer who was offended denies taking pictures. Suge replied “I got a bitch to come beat your motherf*ckin ass.” Both Katt and Suge deny the robbery.

Roc Nation Sports just gained another football player. Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant has been trying to get a deal with the Cowboys during off season, but the two sides were not able to have an agreement. His contract for $11.8 million expires at the end of the season. Dez says “I feel like it fits me.” “It fits what I’m trying to do, what I’m trying to accomplish in life. In June of this year a tabloid magazine wrote a story about former football star Hank Baskett for being with a transsexual while still married to his wife Kendra Wilkinson who is a former Playboy Playmate. Hank denied the rumors but now admits the story is true. Over the weekend Hank admitted hanging out with Ava London after he contacted the FBI accusing Ava of extortion. The claim from Hank’s lawyers is that Ava illegally recorded their client and asked Hank for $5000 to keep quiet. Sources say Hank met Ava and a friend at the grocery store and they invited him back to their apartment to smoke weed. His friend insists that once Hank found out they were men that he left. Yeezy was offered to perform at the Axis at Planet Hollywood three times a week for three weeks earning him $500,000 a show. If he had taken the offer he would have made more than Celine Dion, Britney Spears, and Jennifer Lopez who had been offered $350,000 a show. Whew would you have turned that down??

The problem is Christina Milian already has a child with singer The Dream who has a baby with Lil Wayne’s other baby’s mother Nivea, but Lil Wayne and Nivea have a child together as well. Toya was quoted saying “I think that is a hot mess, if you want my honest opinion. That’s just too much.” Lil Wayne has four children with four different women.

A New York doctor has tested positive for Ebola. The doctor returned from Guinea where he worked for Doctors Without Borders around October 12th. This is the city’s first case and the fourth diagnosed in the United States. Craig Spencer is 33 years old and says at first he did not have any symptoms but developed a fever, nausea, pain, and fatigue. His fever went up to 100.3 degrees. Spencer’s apartment has been isolated. The associate commissioner of the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene is telling folks that live in the neighborhood that they are safe. The outbreak has killed almost 5,000 people mostly in Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Guinea.

The hospital in Dallas,Texas where two nurses contracted Ebola is apologizing.

“Unfortunately, in our initial treatment of Mr. Duncan, despite our best intentions and a highly skilled medical team, we made mistakes. We did not correctly diagnose his symptoms as those of Ebola. We are deeply sorry.”

While the hospital expresses regret for not properly diagnosing Eric Duncan who died from Ebola there is now a higher concern about if the virus could spread throughout the US because the nurse who contracted Ebola from Duncan traveled by air between Cleveland and Dallas while having Ebola symptoms. Since the nurse contracted Ebola the 132 passengers on the plane with are being interviewed and a few schools have been closed in Dallas and Cleveland. Frontier Airlines has given six crew members 21 days of paid leave for safety.

The nurse is being treated in Atlanta and remains in “good condition.”

Now bullying is not healthy at all but where is the thick skin? The second health care worker from Dallas, Texas who has the Ebola virus boarded a commercial jet on Monday. Health officials say she should not have done so. The woman had a temperature of 99.5 Fahrenheit before boarding the plane. Health workers who had been exposed to the dead Ebola patient Eric Duncan were allowed to travel but not on a regular commercial plane. The woman according to the flight crew showed no symptoms of sign of illness while on board. The risk of exposure to passengers on board is said to be low since she did not have symptoms. Health officials say the Ebola virus is not contagious before symptoms  set in. A total of 4,493 people are confirmed to have died from Ebola this year in Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Spain and the US.

Rihanna is set to drop a single off of her new album this month. Details are sketch at this point but the Rihanna Navy is clearly excited. The album release will be November 25, 2014 which we all know as Black Friday. RiRi is working with DJ Mustard but RUMORED to be working with Drake and Chris Brown. The features and number of tracks on the project are not known but RiRi recently was spotted in the studio with Nicki Minaj and Ester Dean.

A nurse in Texas thought she took all the precautions to protect herself from Ebola. The woman whose name has not been released contracted Ebola even though she wore a mask, gloves, shield, and gown. Her patient was a man who got the virus from Africa that was in isolation at the hospital in Dallas, Texas where she worked. The nurse is the first known transmission ever in the United States. The CDC said Sunday there was a breach in protocol in Texas but they are not giving and details just yet on what that means.

Early in the morning Chris Brown got on Twitter and shared his opinion on Ebola. Chris Breezy pretty much said “I don’t know … But I think this Ebola epidemic is a form of population control. Shit is gettin crazy bruh.” His conspiracy theory is something that many people have thought of but haven’t really said too loud. Chris went on to say … “Let me shut my black ass up!” I guess Chris knew this would make headlines today… lol
