ASAP Rocky just booked a modeling gig with Salavotore Ferragamo. The Harlem rapper will be featured in the Ferragamo Spring/Summer 2015 menswear collection ad campaign called, A Man’s Story. Recently ASAP Rocky and top model Chanel Iman broke off their engagement after dating one year.
Officer Darren Wilson is said to be in talks to be resigning as a Ferguson police officer. Sources say that Darren Wilson met with city officials about turning his badge in. Sources also say that Darren is not admitting guilt by turning in his badge but the decision is mainly for protecting his fellow officers. The grand jury is still reviewing evidence on weather Officer Wilson should be indicted. The panel is set to meet again today on Friday and an decision could come by Sunday.
Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard are joining forces again on the small screen next year. The two were in the film Hustle & Flow together and now the two actors are set to lead a television drama called “Drama.” The series will debut on Wednesday, January 7th at 9pm on Fox. Terrence Howard will play Lucious Lyon who is a former drug dealer turned music mogul. Taraji Henson will be his ex wife named Cookie who returns home after years in prison. The two will battle over control of Lyon’s Empire Entertainment and roles of their three sons who are in the company.

Billboard will now start counting streams for their album chart! Welcome to a new era of music! Digital is the new “it,” The Billboard 200 chart has been the official spot for weekly album rankings in the United States since 1956. In 1991, Billboard magazine listed the top selling LP’s in the country based on the Nielson SoundScan sales numbers. Billboard and the New York Times reports SoundScan will start adding streaming numbers to the total of album sales. This shift in music comes from the decline of purchasing albums in store it seems. Every 1,500 streams on Spotify, Beats Music, Rdio, Rhapsody, and Google Play will now equal 1 album sale. Ten downloads of individual tracks will equal one album. The new chart will be published online on December 4th.
This morning November 20th 2014 a gunman opened fire at Florida State University. Three students were wounded and the gunman was killed in a shootout with the police. Students heard gunshots after midnight while studying in the library and took cover. A student was grazed with a bullet and treated on the scene and two others suffered from being shot. The school is open today but classes are cancelled.
As allegations of rape continue to pile up against Bill Cosby things have started going left. NBC has pulled the plug on a family sitcom that was in production for Cosby to star in. Also TV land has discontinued showing reruns of The Cosby Show, and Netflix has postponed premiering “Bill Cosby 77” which is a stand up comedy special about marriage, relationships, and children. Do you think Cosby should be punished?

The team at Shady Records and Eminem have upped their efforts for the layout of their compilation double disc album, Shady XV which will be released on November 24, 2014. The album will celebrate 15 years of Shady Records. DJ Whoo Kid and Peter Rosenberg of Hot97 confirmed a 66 track mixtape which contains 3 hours of music from Eminem. The mixtape will drop before the album. If your favorite record is not on the ShadyXV best of disc, you just might hear it on this mixtape. The mixtape is being put together by DJ Whoo Kidd. Rosenberg was quoted saying “We figured since there’s gunna be so many people that are saying why didn’t this song make it, why didn’t that song make it, we’ll just do something to please everybody.” Will you be listening?
Former supermodel Janice Dickinson has come forward and claimed that Bill Cosby raped her in 1982. Janice says she went to his hotel room to discuss an audition for The Cosby Show and was given a pill and a glass of red wine by Cosby to help her with her cramps and he then raped her when she passed out. What is strange is how Janice was visiting the hotel room to discuss the audition in her pajamas. Janice was quoted saying “The next morning I woke up, and I wasn’t wearing my pajamas, and I remember before I passed out that I had been sexually assaulted by this man,” she tells ET. “… Before I woke up in the morning, the last thing I remember was Bill Cosby in a patchwork robe, dropping his robe and getting on top of me. And I remember a lot of pain. The next morning I remember waking up with my pajamas off and there was semen in between my legs.” You had a business meeting in a hotel room to discuss a television role in your pajamas? Janice is one of three women who have spoken out against Cosby in recent weeks bringing the total number to 15 women with claims that incident happened…. Back in the day.
After Kim Kardashian West broke the internet last week Ray J’s pockets got a little fatter. Sales increased for Kim K and ex boyfriend Ray J’s sex tape. Sources from Vivid Entertainment say Ray J profited $50,000 in one week when he usually makes $90,000 every 3 months. Kim K holds the record for the biggest selling sex tape of all time.
