Kendrick Lamar makes it known that “To Pimp a Butterfly” wasn’t the original name of his recent album. Kendrick says the original name was Tu Pimp a Caterpillar and the initials spell out Tupac. When Kendrick saw that a group a journalists suggested that the title might be an acronym he changed Caterpillar to Butterfly to show “the brightness of life. And the word “pimp” has so much aggression.” He also says that the name signifies “using my celebrity for good” and not being “pimped by the industry through my celebrity.” Kendrick also says it gets deeper than that but he would be talking about it all day. To Pimp A Butterfly is stil #1 on the charts. Have you listened to the album?

Justin Bieber is at work on his next album! Production will be from Kanye West and Rick Rubin. Curious about the sound? Bieber has not released an album since 2012 so seeing the difference and growth in his sound will be pretty interesting, especially with Kanye on his side. Are you anticipating a new Bieber?
