J Cole’s new album is coming very soon. His new album called “2014 Forrest Hills Drive” will be out before the end of the year. The album is available for preorder on iTunes and will be dropping December 9th which is the same day Lil Wayne’s The Carter 5 will release. There will be 13 tracks on the album and there is no word yet on what music will appear on the album. J Cole released a short documentary for the album’s release and concept and the project will not have prerelease singles. Will you be buying his new album? Check out the video below!

Kendrick Lamar performed on Saturday Night Live over the weekend. The west coast rapper paid homage to Method Man during his eye catching performance. Kendrick performed his song “I” with black eye contacts and his cornrows half done on his head which made many wonder why he chose to go with that look. Kendrick used his performance to pay homage to Method Man’s debut solo album Tical. November 15th was actually the 20th anniversary of the Wu-tang Clan member’s LP. Kendrick’s hair was a representation of Method Man’s look in You’re All I Need To Get By featuring Mary J. Bilge. Long live real Hip-Hop! Watch the performance below!

For a while now the Migos have been getting into brawls at their performances. Sometimes it’s hard to tell who they are beefing with because of all the drama. After an issue with GBE’s Capo and threats from Fredo Santana the Migos were allegedly jumped at their DC show over the weekend. Some tweets from DC locals say that Migos’s member Quavo had his chain snatched and he was bleeding from the face. Chief Keef posted a picture of the chain on his Instagram account and then deleted it. Fat Trel then sent out a warning tweet that rappers visiting DC need to “check in” with him when coming to his territory. It is not clear if either rapper has involvement in the robbery.
