Unsigned Talent: Shani Star – (914)

I had the pleasure of going to elementary school with this talented individual. Shout out to Pennington Grimes class of 2002!

Hailing from Mount Vernon, NY (914) Shani Star is an up and coming young musician for whom the sky is truly the limit. With her successful “Hello World” EP and the release of her debut “Never Gon’ Stop” music video, the future looks bright for this young star!

Born and raised in New York, Shani Star is a stunner on the court. Not only does she schools the fellas in basketball, but at the drums too – her first love in music. Though she plays other instruments as well, it is on a drum set where her true talents shine and her joy and love for music are most apparent. She is just as comfortable drumming as she is spitting rhymes on the mic and it is these skills that serve her best in the pursuit of her ultimate music goals – rapping, drumming, and music production. With her hard work ethics, her determination to become successful.

“While growing up in church, my eyes were opened to the TRUTH, the VALUE OF LIFE, what we should be doing with our gifts and how we should live our lives. We should use our gifts for God and make a positive impact in this world. I don’t want to put my talents to waste”

Love you Shani! Make Mount Vernon proud!
